After Marshall sees a documentary about an island in the Pacific used as a landfill, he becomes determined to save the environment. Ted has an uncomfortable encounter with Zoey's ex-husband the Captain who doesn't realise that Ted and Zoey are now together. Meanwhile, Robin forces Barney to admit he has feelings for her friend Nora.
