Time Team

Tony Robinson and the team travel to the windswept island of Barra, 50 miles off the west coast of Scotland where a recent storm ripped apart one of the dunes, revealing burials and the remains of ancient houses. The beautifully preserved Bronze Age burials are a mix of cremations and stone-lined graves and it seems that all sorts of ritual practice took place in this cemetery.
