The War of the Roses (1989)

Black comedy about a couple whose marriage break-up degenerates into a pitched battle fought out in their beautiful mansion, which neither is prepared to vacate in favour of the other. In the course of an increasingly bitter dispute, their lovely home becomes a war zone with no victor in sight except their lawyer.
