Strangeways

This episode focuses on the healthcare unit at Strangeways, and it is the first time that such access has been given to what is one of the most challenging and sensitive areas in the prison. The most disruptive prisoner, David Charlton, is often a resident here as he cannot function in the normal wings. Charlton is abusive to staff and frequently soils his cell, but despite all this, he regards Strangeways as his home.
