Silent Witness

Forensic pathologist Sam Ryan is unconvinced that the death of a headmaster's wife is the result of suicide and is deeply frustrated when her suggestion of an autopsy is blocked by the coroner. Despite persistent health problems, Sam ignores advice to rest and continues her investigation, as well as taking on the case of a long-dead nun with saintly credentials.
