When Jamie finds out Joe has been battering Mandy, he puts Joe in hospital. With Jamie's previous murder conviction, the Maguires refuse to let him go back behind bars indefinitely, so Mimi takes the rap for her son. However, with a rival clan on the horizon, and Paddy feigning illness to hide his addiction, this is the last thing that the Maguires need.
