Saving Lives at Sea

On the North coast of Kent, new crew member Ruth is on board for one of her first ever shouts, a member of the public has spotted what looks like an upturned boat out at sea, the crew launch to investigate only for the call to turn into a race to save lives. Off the Essex coast, the crew of West Mersea station launch to reports of a life raft in the North Sea, but with no news of any sinking vessels in the area, where the raft and it's sole occupant comes from remains a mystery.
