Saving Lives at Sea

A teenage boy rushes to help save a paralysed surfer from drowning; when a 999 call comes in, the Appledore crew are tasked with an immediate launch. In Little and Broad Haven, south Wales, there's a frantic search for two paddleboarders swept over a mile out to sea. The Hayling Island crew race against time to rescue a fisherman trapped in mud; two walkers in Redcar are cut off on a rapidly diminishing strip of beach; and in Porthcawl, a dog owner calls 999 after her dog is taken by the tide.
