Midnight Run (1988)

A gruff cop turned bounty hunter captures a fugitive accountant accused of fraud and sets off from New York for Los Angeles to collect his prize. However, he is unaware that both the Mafia and the FBI are also on the accountant's trail and hot on their heels.
