Mapp & Lucia

Lucia marries Georgie and becomes mayor of Tilling after the previous mayor retires. When Lucia is asked to select a Lady Mayoress, her female friends all start vying for the title - though Lucia ultimately ends up picking Mapp so she can keep her rival in check as a subordinate.
