Hope Floats (1998)

Sentimental story about a former beauty queen who returns home to rebuild her shattered life after being publicly humiliated on a TV talk show. The woman finds her life coming apart at the seams when her best friend and her husband invite her onto a chat show in order to tell her they are having an affair.
