It can be almost impossible to find a plot by the sea but Katrin and James Gray have come up with a very novel solution. They found a redundant solarium for sale on top of a block of flats overlooking the beach in Bournemouth. Having bought the solarium, they then negotiated with all their neighbours to build on the roof of the flats to create a luxury penthouse with stunning views along the coast.
