Glorious 39 (2009)

On the cusp of WWII, Anne Keyes, daughter of wealthy politician Alexander, is nurturing a fledgling acting career. With the government eager to make sure the war never happens, Anne is comfortable in her charmed life, but Prime Minister Chamberlain's appeasement policy isn't pleasing everyone. At a lavish Keyes party, young MP Hector Maldane voices his discontent, believing a more combative response is in order.
