Dirty Harry (1971)

A violent and uncompromising police officer hunts for a psychopath who holds the city of San Francisco to ransom. Although the officer's unorthodox methods do not endear him to his superiors, the mayor reluctantly agrees that Harry Callahan seems to be the right cop for the job.
