Deutschland 86

The story of East German undercover spy Martin Rauch, first chronicled in the 2015 series `Deutschland 83', picks up in 1986, a time when East Germany's leadership is attempting to save their sinking socialist ship. Banished to Africa for his sins in '83, Martin's Aunt Lenora recruits him to fight for the last gasp of Communism in the Cold War. He eventually embarks on a dangerous mission through Angola to Paris and finally back to East Berlin, where he is forced to face the truth at home - and to make an impossible decision.
