Barnacle Bill (1957)

The comic tale of a failed sailor who sparks jealousies in a seaside community when he strikes it big in the end-of-the-pier entertainment trade. Captain Ambrose comes from a long line of seafarers, but can't be a sailor due to his seasickness, so he sets up store in a small British town, Sandcastle-on-Sea.
