Alison is struggling to deal with David's news when Tamsin phones. Virginia has fallen into the river in York. Alison is haunted by the fear that Virginia was trying to kill herself. She and David rush to Virginia's hospital bedside. Virginia comes to and apologies for taking the money. A relieved Alison forgives her everything. Later, Alison and David discuss what to do about Graham.
