Ruth Rendell Mysteries

When a woman's body is found dumped in undergrowth, Inspector Masters presumes it to be the work of a serial killer who has struck four times before. However, the case is complicated when it comes to light that the dead woman had left the area and apparently returned without anyone knowing.
