Dermot's Taste of Ireland

On the sweeping sands of Benone Strand, Dermot rolls up his trousers and wades into the sea to harvest water for salt-making. Guided by Clare from Mussenden Salt, he learns the traditional process of creating sea salt over an open fire right on the beach. Embracing ancient Irish traditions, they host a clan-style cookout, roasting meat, cheese, and vegetables over open flames as previous generations once did.
