As the birth of her first child approaches, Niamh's mother arrives in town, sending her daughter's blood pressure soaring. Liam and Donal set up a battered old chip van directly opposite the church, much to Father Peter's horror, and when Padraig O'Kelly sets himself up as a reporter on the local newspaper, he finds himself in big trouble.
