DramaThe ill-fated Australian invasion of the Turkish coast at Gallipoli, as seen through the eyes of two young friends, Frank Dunne and Archy Hamilton. Competitive athletes back home, they join up and their swift legs earn them assignments as messengers between the front line and the command post. They also become witnesses to one of the most infamous slaughters of the First World War.
