The Bill

On the first day of the Carly Samuels murder trial, Smithy takes the stand while suspects Tito Morientes and Dwayne Fox look on. Grace is shocked to see that the prosecution barrister is her ex-boyfriend, and furious that a witness has retracted his statement, Smithy persuades Alisha Danniels to appear in court. Elsewhere, Nate and Diane find a pregnant woman brutally beaten. Her boyfriend is arrested but accuses Nate of abuse.
