Tropic of Capricorn

This leg of the journey crosses South Africa, Mozambique and the beautiful Island of Madagascar. Simon comes face to face with the dramatic Zimbabwean refugee crisis, meets giant rats helping to clear land mines in Mozambique, eats soup made from the penis of the zebu (a type of ox), and visits a wild town where thousands of poor Madagascans are digging for sapphires.
