Andy Millman has been an actor for five years but he's never done any acting, instead only landing roles as a lowly film extra. His only friend in the world is Maggie, a fellow supporting artist and a hopeless romantic. When Maggie suggests that Andy ask leading man Ross Kemp for a line in the programme they are working on, it sets off a chain of events that results in an embarrassing confrontation between Kemp and Vinnie Jones.
