Lark Rise to Candleford

Gabriel has finally completed the machine which he hopes will restore his fortunes, and soon farmers are clamouring to buy his invention. Dorcas is delighted for him, until she realises that its success could mean his departure from Candleford. Meanwhile, Caroline has return to Lark Rise, and now that Alf's ma is back to look after her children she assumes it's only a matter of time before he comes to propose.
