In & Out (1997)

The entire town is watching with bated breath as one of their own is up for an Oscar. They get more than they bargain for when he outs his high-school English teacher, who then has to prove to everyone, especially his fiancée, that he's straight. The press turn up and one reporter in particular is making life very difficult.
