Champagne for Caesar (1950)

A genius is rebuffed when he applies for a job at a soap factory and sets out to ruin the company by taking part in a quiz show it sponsors. As he continually wins the ever-doubling cash prize, the organisers adopt underhand means to upset the human encyclopedia's equilibrium.
