Sleeping With the Enemy (1991)

A woman who has been subjected to constant abuse by her control-crazy husband fakes her own death and changes her identity. Her husband soon realises that his wife is alive and traces her back to her home town, where he subjects her to a campaign of psychological terror before the final deadly showdown.
