Colin Clark works as an assistant on the set of the Laurence Olivier and Marilyn Monroe film the `Prince and the Showgirl'. When Arthur Miller, Monroe's playwright husband, leaves the country, Clark introduces Monroe to British life in a week in which she escapes from her Hollywood routine and the pressures of stardom.
