Sudden Death (1995)

Thriller set at the Stanley Cup ice hockey finals. It's Game 7 and the winner will lift the trophy but with the Vice President attending, criminal Joshua Foss has his eyes on a bigger prize. Holding the VP hostage, his demands are backed up by the shooting of selected hostages and the threat of bombs planted around the stadium. However, rink security guard McCord, whose kids are in the crowd, refuses to be cowed.
