Vera

DCI Vera Stanhope must unravel the circumstances of self-styled entrepreneur Freddie Gill's death when his body is found by bailiffs, attempting to repossess his house. Freddie is estranged from his wife and son who have returned to living with her formidable mother Tina, her volatile brother Lee and her taciturn uncle Darren at the family's beloved pub. Matters are further complicated when it's revealed Freddie was with someone the night he died and there may be a witness to the crime.
