The Bill

PC Gary Best is asked by CID to go undercover and get information on the criminal activities of his estranged brother Joe. Gradually he wins the trust of Joe's gang but has to be warned to keep things in perspective by his superiors. Then Joe gets out of his depth in a local drug war which ends in a bloodbath. Elsewhere, Sergeant June Ackland is fighting for her life, having been run down by PC Tony Stamp.
