Henry Cole takes five teams of metal detectorists to Layer Marney in Essex. As they compete to dig up the most historically important finds, they unearth medieval hammered coins, modern-day jewellery and a 2,000-year-old Roman brooch - while Henry tries out the latest craze - magnet fishing.
