Series 1 Episode 1: King Mike McDonald

Mike McDonald was one of the first true organised Crime Bosses and is credited to having laid the foundations for the rise of the Irish Mob throughout America. At the beginning of the 20th century Mike McDonald controlled everything in Chicago from politicians and judges to gambling licences and liquor licences. He was indeed recognised as the King of Chicago at the time.
