Training Day (2001)

Taut urban tale following a rookie cop's first day of training in an elite LAPD narcotics squad headed by a veteran policeman with an extreme, often morally questionable approach to law enforcement. The shell-shocked greenhorn is left to consider whether these unorthodox methods are an abuse of power or a necessary evil in a city overrun by violent crime.
