Upstairs, Downstairs

It's summer 1906 and James Bellamy's friend, Hammond, a bronzed young Army captain from the North West Frontier, comes to the house and is persuaded to escort Lady Marjorie to a gala performance at the opera. The next day, the servants' hall is buzzing with gossip that the mistress has fallen in love.
