Following the personal journey of 14-year-old Lewis, who has a passion for drag, from the makeup and wigs to the flamboyant costumes and lip sync routines. After years of bullying and a prolonged and difficult estrangement from his biological dad, Lewis has finally found the strength to be confident in his own skin. Realising he is lucky to have the support of friends and family, Lewis decides to put on a show called Proud to be Different.
