Upstairs, Downstairs

Drama series examining life in a fashionable London household at the turn of the 20th century. It's 1912, the Edwardian era is over, and Richard is at work on a political biography, assisted by a young typist named Hazel Forrest. James, bored with his job, takes an interest in Miss Forrest, causing a major household crisis. Later, Lady Marjorie leaves for America on the maiden voyage of an `unsinkable' new ship.
