The Notebook (2004)

Duke and Allie Calhoun are living out their twilight years in a retirement home. She is suffering from Alzheimer's Disease but he insists on daily readings to her from a notebook, a record of how they met and married. In flashback, the film tells the story of the couple when they were young.
