Saving Lives at Sea

The volunteer crews of the RNLI's 238 lifeboat stations can be paged at any time, day or night, calling them away from friends, families and colleagues to head out into the unknown. On the north eastern tip of the Scottish mainland, the crew at Wick begin a frantic search to find a paddleboarder who has drifted a mile out to sea, while her family wait anxiously on the shore.
