Rio Olympic champion Jack Laugher goes for another gold medal as the first diving event of the 2022 Commonwealth Games reaches its climax. Laugher is the defending champion in all three men's springboard events and has just won a hat-trick of World Championship medals. The main threat to his bid for a third successive Commonwealth title in the 1m springboard is likely to come from Australia's Shixin Lee, who won two world 1m titles while representing his native China.
