Martin Clunes explores animals' role in different cultures. When Martin travels to Nepal to learn about the Hindu sacred animal, the cow, he sees how fundamental the beast is to a family's life. Then, Aggie Maxum takes Martin to meet the Nomadic Kazakh's horses in the remote mountains of Central Asia, where nothing has changed for a few thousand years, and on the 'Islands of Smiles', Martin joins the Tiwi elders as they teach the younger ones how to scour the island for bush tukka.
