Deansgate pupil Kim Patterson surprises Nate by telling him that her father Russell had a relationship with Becky James - who abruptly ended it six months before. Nate is stunned to discover that it was Russell who paid Marcus Bentley to steal Becky's laptop. What could be on there that he wanted so urgently? Becky admits she broke up with Russell as she suspected that he might be sexually abusing Kim.
