American superstar Simone Biles aims for gymnastics gold, while Great Britain hopes to get among the medals as the first of the equestrian events is decided. Biles won four golds in Rio, and could add a fifth in today's team competition in Tokyo, where the USA are the two-time defending champions. Britain's dressage team have won medals at the last two Olympics, winning gold in London and silver in Rio. With Charlotte Dujardin and Carl Hester, they have two of the best riders in the world.
