Two Thousand Women (1944)

Set in 1944, in a Nazi-run French internment camp for British women. Newcomers Rosemary Brown, Freda Thompson, Bridie Johnson and Miss Manningford and her companion Miss Meredith are soon caught up in the camp's dramas, as British pilots need to be hidden in the camp and smuggled out to safety before they cause emotional problems among the love-starved women. To make matters worse, there is a Nazi spy in their midst.
