Collision Earth (2012)

The planet Mercury is struck by a solar flare that sends it out of orbit and on a collision course with Earth. A disgraced scientist must reactivate his defunct plans for a new weapons system to save the world, while an astronaut whose spaceship was orbiting Mercury faces a struggle to survive.
