The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes

A farmer is found dead, and for the local police inspector it's clear that the man's son, James McCarthy, should be charged with the murder. Although for Alice Turner, McCarthy's childhood friend, the matter is not a murder but a mystery, and she sends a telegram to Sherlock Holmes. As Holmes takes up the case, Alice becomes a vital source of information.
