The Boys in Blue (1983)

Comedians Cannon and Ball take on the roles of two local policemen in a dozy English village. As well as their law enforcement duties they are running a profitable little business on the side. So when the County's Chief Constable issues their sub-station with closure notices, the boys in blue dream up a complicated scheme to save their jobs.
