Romantic titans Schumann and Mendelssohn share the night's bill with a pair of phenomenal composers. Schumann's exuberant Fourth Symphony is the climax of this concert, which also includes sparkling work by Lili Boulanger, the first ever female winner of the prestigious Prix de Rome, and the flamboyant Welsh composer Morfydd Owen.
