Great Art

The five-part series `Great Art', produced by Seventh Art Production and originally released in cinemas under `Exhibition on Screen', explores the work and life of the world's most famous and celebrated artists. The series discusses icons such as the Impressionists, Canoletto, Michelangelo, Rembrandt, and Vermeer. The audience is allowed a behind-the-scenes view of the most famous and leading museums in the world, as well as privileged access to the places the artists inhabited and their private letters. A range of art experts enhance this sneak peek into the world of art, and Tim Marlow, curator and Artistic Director of the Royal Academy of Arts, acts as a tour guide throughout the show.
